Fire & Love
Fire & Love
This piece is something my little sisters helped me design and create. They picked the colors and we epoxied the entire river together. They wanted the river to look like lava and fire and I think we definitely accomplished that vibe. This was the first piece that I used a copper color in. The way that the copper brings out the bronze and copper tones in the walnut is stunning. The iridescence and depth of the epoxy makes this piece jaw dropping in when the sun hits it.
Dimensions: 48” long x 24” long x 18” tall
Where is this wood from? This black walnut was salvaged during the development of Boy’s Town in Nebraska. Instead of turning all of this beautiful old wood into firewood, an arborist had it milled so that beautiful pieces could be created and shared for others to enjoy.
